Every Jewish parent wants to give their child the world. Unfortunately, for many parents in LA, a Jewish education is unaffordable; the cost of tuition is ruinous. And yet, the cost of public school is even higher. Without the solid foundation of a proper Jewish foundation, Jewish values, identity and a Torah way of life can be swept away by bankrupt ideas, the pull of the secular street, assimilation and intermarriage. The Jewish People cannot afford to lose a single precious neshama. As the entire body suffers when even one tiny part is injured, we need every child to contribute their unique abilities to our destiny. So while these may not be our biological children, they are our future! And the seeds we plant today will bear fruit for generations.
